Thetford winner of ‘Beste Marken’ Award

A great tradition to start the new year: German RV magazine Promobil congratulates
Thetford on being selected as winner of the ‘Beste Marken’ (Best Brands) Award. Readers
of the magazine casted their votes via an annual survey, making Thetford number one in
the Toilet Systems category once again.

Highly valued by customers

It is more difficult to stay on top than to get there. That is what Thetford strives for every day, to bring high standard products, and deliver outstanding customer service. “In the year of our 50th anniversary, it is great to see that this is still highly valued by the customers,’’ says Norbert van Noesel, Marketing Manager at Thetford.
Promobil lets the customers speak in their annual readers survey, and customers show themselves to be loyal to the Thetford brand. With a vast majority of votes (76.2%) in the category of Toilet Systems,
Thetford is by far the number one in RV sanitation. Norbert van Noesel: “This is where it all started in Europe 50 years ago. Although Thetford has grown to represent much more than sanitation, we are very proud to hold this first position.”

Market leadership

Next to sanitation, Thetford has achieved a strong market position in both refrigeration and cooking appliances. Refrigeration is part of the Beste Marken’ awards as well, and represented in the ‘Refrigerators and Cool Box’ category. Norbert van Noesel: “Having no history of offering cool boxes, Thetford is proud to become second within this category. We are happy to bring RV-refrigeration to the next level with the introduction of the T2000 12V compressor series.” With a market share of about 50% in new vehicles Thetford became market leader in refrigeration.
