Dometic presents new mobile power solution range boosted by N-BUS

At this year’s Caravan Salon show, Dometic will be presenting a new generation of mobile power solution.
From high-performance solar panels and charge controllers, sine wave inverters, battery chargers to lithium batteries, all smartly connected with the company’s proprietary N-BUS communication protocol, providing camping enthusiasts a new level of comfort and independence on the go.

Self-sufficient energy supply and smart connectivity solutions are top priorities for the camping community these days. Dometic addresses this demand with its new range, which combines the best mobile power solutions of three well established brands: Büttner Dometic, NDS Dometic and Dometic Power&Control. All products in the range are compatible with Dometic’s proprietary N-BUS connectivity solution as well as with the CI-BUS system of the caravan industry.

Everything under control with N-BUS

The big benefit of this innovation is that RVers can now manage their onboard grid from a single
interface. This makes installation and programming easier, and it also allows camping friends to
check the performance and consumption parameters of their devices in real time. For the
purpose, they can use either a central wall display (e.g. Dometic’s new touch-screen display Dometic TD283 – image), or a smart phone with the Dometic app installed.

New Dometic DPSI sine wave inverter series

The new Dometic DPSI sine wave inverter series combines the best of three quality brands. Featuring a consistent,
superbly compact design, the new inverter models take up less space on board than most competitor models.
Generating a clean output voltage, they serve as a reliable power source for all 230 V devices, even sensitive electronic ones.
The portfolio covers all performance classes, from 200 to 3000 watts, 12 and 24 V. The Dometic DPSI TS models come with a smart transfer switch for smooth change-over to an external mains power source. DIYers will appreciate the arrival of the Dometic DPSI RCD models, which integrate a residual current device (RCD) for safe and hassle-free installation.

The Dometic Büttner POWER BLACKLINE solar modules have arrived to set new industry benchmarks.
Living up to their name, they combine the best of our
Dometic Büttner
POWERLINE and BLACKLINE series. Featuring an innovative glass surface combined with 80 high-performance cells (8 more than in the BLACKLINE series), The Dometic Büttner POWER BLACKLINE modules achieve an unprecedented solar yield, even in diffuse light or when partly shaded by a treebranch, sat antenna or open skylight.

Due to a novel wiring system, the new 80-cell high-end modules create optimal conditions for an MPPT solar charge controller. In combination with this advanced control technology, the Dometic Büttner POWER BLACKLINE solar modules achieve the maximum possible power values in each climate zone, in
the smallest space.
By comparison: a Dometic Büttner POWER BLACKLINE panel generates up to 25% more watts peak than a 72-cell BLACKLINE module of the same dimensions. In other words, camping friends get 25% more power for their devices without having to make room for a larger solar panel.

Dometic Büttner TLB lithium batteries – now in three sizes

The Dometic Büttner TLB series lithium batteries come in a standard L5 box. This means they have the perfect
dimensions to be accommodated under the passenger seat of your motorhome or van such as Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper or Peugeot Boxer. Thanks to smart battery management system, the high-performance lithium batteries can be charged from any charger, even one designed for conventional lead-acid batteries.
The popular Dometic Büttner TLB 150 model has the best power-to-weight ratio on the market. In fact, it gives camping friends 50% more capacity in a standard L5 box.

At the Caravan Salon show Dometic introduces two additional models in 100 and 120 Ah. All three batteries are also available with integrated heating.
Branded as Dometic Büttner TLB100F, Dometic Büttner TLB120F and Dometic BüttnerTLB150F, these lithium
batteries are operational at temperatures down to –30°C.

State-of-the-art charging technology, ultra-compact and lightweight design:
New Dometic MCAPLUS battery chargers provide the perfect charging characteristics for modern LiFePO4 batteries as well as for conventional lead-acid batteries (AGM, gel, wet). They can charge up to three
batteries simultaneously. And, great for globetrotters, they work fine on any mains supply in the world thanks to their wide input voltage range of 110 to 230 V.
