Ultra Comfort 6000

Ultra Comfort 6000A new and innovative design shifts air conditioners for recreational vehicles from the roof to the engine compartment, with the diffuser embedded in the dashboard. This frees up space on the roof, lowers the centre of gravity and, above all, makes it possible for vehicles with a pop-up roof to mount a dedicated cabin air conditioner.

Teleco introduces the new Ultra Comfort 6000

A pop-up roof is the first choice for those who love the cool evening breeze: falling asleep to the gentle sound of crickets and a privileged view of the stars is priceless. However, when the early morning summer sun starts to warm everything it touches, and cicadas take over from the crickets, even the most adventurous of campers tends to opt for an early breakfast and long for the air conditioner back home. Until yesterday, the pop-up roof necessarily meant giving up on the air conditioner, but from now on things are set to change.Teleco, a leading company in the recreational vehicle industry, presents the new Ultra Comfort 6000, an innovative air conditioning system designed specifically for camper vans with pop-up roofs, with the versatility to be installed on any type of vehicle up to eight metres in length. Its unique feature is that the external unit is installed in the vehicle’s engine compartment, while the diffuser holds a central position within the dashboard, thereby completely freeing up the roof. The heat pump technology allows the device to be used both as an air conditioner and as a heater, allowing further space savings.

This cutting-edge solution represents a turning point in the world of air conditioning systems for recreational vehicles, offering high performance without cluttering the roof or sacrificing a rooflight. Thanks to Teleco’s constant research, campers who prefer smaller vehicles and the advantages of a pop-up roof will now have the option of a light, high-performance air conditioner. The idea behind the Ultra Comfort 6000 is to create more space by turning to those areas of vehicles that are usually left empty. This innovative installation offers several advantages:
A light roof and no sacrificing the rooflight: an air conditioner is certainly the heaviest accessory to be installed on the roof, and often also the highest. By moving it from the roof to the engine compartment, the vehicle outline is sleeker and the rooflight is spared.

Ventilation from below: instead of a stream of cold air blowing from above, the Ultra Comfort 6000 diffuses the air from below, with no annoying cold shocks when going through the corridor.
Maximum silence: the mechanical parts are located in the engine compartment, away from the living areas and in an acoustically insulated space. This results in significantly less noise and vibrations.
Utmost safety and protection: by being effectively invisible and installed in a closed compartment, the Ultra Comfort 6000 is protected both from bad weather and from theft.
Pet friendly: silence, ventilation from below and high-level performance make the Ultra Comfort 6000 the best choice for pet lovers.
Ready for the “smart camper” revolution
The Ultra Comfort 6000 air conditioner fits perfectly into Teleco’s “smart” ecosystem, and is designed to connect via Wi-Fi to the on-board router, such as the Teleco WLT24EX2. This allows for remote control of the air conditioning, ensuring a cool, welcoming environment upon returning from the beach. The installation of the Ultra Comfort 6000 is very simple, as all parts are connected by flexible hoses with quick connections and the refrigerant gas is already loaded into the air conditioner. The product is currently compatible with the engine compartments of Stellantis vehicles (Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper, Renault Boxer and Opel Movano), and it is recommended for vehicles between 5 and 8 metres. The Ultra Comfort 6000, moreover, is up to 5 kg lighter than a classic roof-mounted air conditioning system.
